Description:
At PPD Inc. we deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses in Nebraska. PPD Inc. manages a variety of routes, time schedules, and road conditions. A successful candidate will be able to load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle. Additionally, we operate a variety of commercial motor vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions. DOT and FedEx regulations are safety standards that are required, but we strive to exceed expectations in these areas. We have excellent organizational and time management skills, and we work well with others and on our own. .
Throughout your day you will deliver, or account for, all deliveries and pickups efficiently. This is accomplished by driving a variety of pavement and rural roads. After completing your route, you will return to the station, check your vehicle for mechanical issues, and complete needed paperwork to finish the day . A proficient team member will complete the day between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, with the rare exception of undeterminable circumstances like weather, mechanical issues, ect.
Qualifications:
- Must pass drug screening.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a clean criminal background.
- Must have a good motor vehicle record.
- Any DUIs? If so, how long ago?
- Must be able to move and lift packages throughout the day. 150lb limit
- Must be able to work well with others as well as on your own.
- We process all of our employees through E-Verify.
- Pass DOT physical
